Why do we care to invest so much time and hard work hand knitting and crocheting when there are so many good knitwear pieces

made by machine?

Because we believe that something created by your own hands is not just a product but also something unique to wear, to dress our home, to clothe our loved ones and to cherish for the future.

MARIE WALLIN creative workshops will inspire you to create something special and will develop your creative hand knit and crochet skills.  The workshops are suitable for average knitters, those wishing to improve their design skills further, as well as confident beginners. Although the projects use different techniques they are mostly created from basic hand knit and crochet stitches and therefore should be achievable by those new to hand knitting and crochet.

ABOUT THE CREATIVE WORKSHOPS

Each workshop will be hosted by Marie Wallin, Rowan’s Head Designer and will be worked around a specific project. The project will be an exclusive design or designs by Marie Wallin and will be an item to wear, for the home or a decorative piece.
