Shipping methods


UK orders are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class post for a single book and small yarn orders and Royal Mail 1st Class Sign for post for multiple book, kit, and larger yarn orders.


Non UK orders are sent via Royal Mail International Standard post (not tracked) for a single book and small yarn orders and Royal Mail International Track & Sign for post or International Track post (Canada, Australia & New Zealand) for multiple book, kit, and larger yarn orders. Orders over 2 Kgs will be sent via UPS.


Christmas deliveries


Due to the ongoing industrial strike action by Royal Mail staff, all deliveries are now subject to delay due to a large backlog of post here in the UK. Please allow plenty of extra time for your order to arrive.


Last posting dates for Christmas deliveries are:


UK 1st Class – Friday 16th December

Special Delivery – Wednesday 21st December


EU – Monday 12th December

US & Canada – Friday 9th December

Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia – Monday 5th December


Delivery times


UK orders should take between 1 and 2 days working days to arrive.

Non UK orders should take between 5 and 10 working days.


In the event of your order not arriving within these standard time frames, please allow a total of 30 working days from date of shipping confirmation, as delays caused by international customs and mail service strike action cannot be avoided. If your order has still not arrived after this time frame then please email and we will either send out a replacement order at our cost or refund the cost of your order.




As is a UK website and Marie Wallin Designs Ltd is a UK business all the prices displayed on the website include UK VAT at 20%. If you are a non UK customer, this 20% VAT will be deducted at checkout. However, you are responsible for any import duty and/or import VAT (at your country’s VAT rate) that may be charged on delivery of your order. You will normally be contacted and invoiced by the courier. If your order has been sent by Royal Mail then please check your tracking (if applicable) to check the status of the delivery.


UK customers will pay the stated price on the website, which includes 20% VAT. If the order contains yarn or a kit, VAT will also be added to the shipping cost at checkout.


Shipping prices are added at checkout and usually there are options to choose from.

The final shipping price includes a warehouse packing charge.


Adding extra items to an order.


We will try and accommodate any forgotten items. However, if the packing team are already working on your order, then we are unable to do so. Please email as soon as possible with your order number and we will do our best to sort this out for you.




Items can be returned at your shipping cost. These must be in a resaleable condition – unopened and unused. Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt of your order. This is the shipping address for returns:
