Troutbeck from Cumbria is a beautiful, traditionally inspired Fairisle design for men using 17 colours, and is fitted with long sleeves and a vee neck. It is knitted flat in pieces from the bottom up. Like most of Marie’s designs it can be knitted in the round with the introduction of 5, 7 or 9 steek stitches where the side seams and armholes would be. Please note that the pattern does not include instructions for knitting in the round.

This design is available in three sizes of kits – XS, S & M, L, XL & XXL and 2XL & 3XL and each kit contains enough yarn to knit the biggest size of the sizes. The XS, S & M kit includes 30 x 25g balls of Marie Wallin British Breeds yarn, and the L, XL & XXL kit includes 36 x 25g balls and the 2XL & 3XL kit includes 38 x 25g balls. Each kit also includes the detailed high quality printed pattern for Troutbeck - all presented in a lovely Marie Wallin calico garment kit bag.

Please note that the colour Walnut has been substituted with Storm in this kit only. This will not affect the overall appearance of the finished design.
